Overview for Parents
vNCSY’s Mission statement...
Vancouver NCSY is
the premier organization dedicated to connect, inspire and empower
Jewish teens and encourage passionate Judaism through Torah and
Tradition.
What is vNCSY?
vNCSY is a Jewish youth organization based out of the Schara Tzedeck Synagogue. We have over 250 teenage members who participate in our hundreds of social, educational and recreational programs every year.
From local weekly and monthly events to Shabbatons occuring all over the Pacific Northwest, vNCSY has something for everyone.
The vNCSY Auerhaun youth lounge, which is located in the Schara Tzedeck
Synagogue is home to a big screen TV, foosball, ping-pong, air hockey,
Playstation II’s, and computer systems and is open for drop in on
Wednesday nights.
vNCSY is committed to offering programming for teens from all Jewish
backgrounds in a safe and warm environment that allows teens to explore
Jewish tradition and grow spirtually and socially.
vNCSY also has programs for kids in grades 6-7. These programs are called Jr NCSY.
NCSY also has summer programs that are run on a national level for teens from all across the US and Canada.
