Why Support vNCSY?

According to a study by the Canadian Federation of Monteal, the intermarriage rate in Vancouver is a shocking 83 percent and it's rising!

The Harvard Demographics Study found that if current trends continue, by 2076 the Jewish population will be reduced to 85% of what it is today.

In 1998, the Lilly Foundation did a study and found that over 90% of adults involved in NCSY as teenagers marry Jewish and maintain their involvement with the Jewish community.

NCSY offers Jewish teens a safe, warm, and welcoming environment to explore Jewish tradition, to meet other Jewish teens, and to grow spiritually and socially.

Studies have proven that Jewish teens who have a strong sense of Jewish identity and heritage, and who are versed in Jewish tradition and practice, have a much higher chance of remaining connected to Judaism and raising Jewish children.
